2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of a third party, you confirm you have authority to do so.

Use of the contact form or submission of an enquiry constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

3. Service Description

Tickwright provides mechanical watch repair and restoration services in Patong, Phuket. Services currently offered are: Chronograph Servicing, Bracelet Refurbishment, and Complete Restoration Projects. Service descriptions and starting prices are published on our website and subject to change without notice.

Services are available to clients in Thailand and, by arranged courier, to clients elsewhere. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.

4. Service Scope and Agreement

All work is carried out against a written scope agreed with the client before any dismantling or service work begins. The agreed scope sets out the work to be performed and the associated price. No work will be carried out beyond what is described in the agreed scope without prior written or verbal authorisation from the client.

If examination of the watch reveals additional issues not included in the original scope, these will be communicated to the client before any additional work proceeds.

Completion timeframes stated at the time of agreement are estimates. We will notify you promptly if a delay arises due to parts availability or other unforeseen factors.

5. Client Responsibilities

• You must have the right to submit the watch for service (ownership or authorisation from the owner).
• You must provide accurate information about the watch's history and known issues to the best of your knowledge.
• You must respond to communications in a timely manner to avoid delays to your job.
• You must collect or arrange return of the watch within 30 days of completion notice. Uncollected items after 60 days may be subject to a storage charge.

6. Payment

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Published prices are starting points; the final agreed price is confirmed in writing before work begins.

Payment is due on collection or, for remote clients, prior to return by courier. Accepted methods include cash (Thai Baht), bank transfer (Thai accounts), and other methods agreed in advance.

If you choose not to proceed after an assessment, a nominal assessment fee may apply to cover the time spent examining the watch. This will be communicated before assessment begins if applicable.

7. Cancellation and Changes to Scope

You may cancel a service agreement before work begins without charge. Once work has commenced, you will be liable for the cost of work completed to that point.

Changes to the agreed scope requested after work has started may affect the final price and completion timeframe. We will confirm any changes and their impact in writing before proceeding.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Tickwright or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for vintage or heavily worn movements, where the condition of internal components may not be fully apparent until dismantled.

This website and its content are provided for informational purposes. Nothing on this website constitutes professional advice of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the price paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use or sentimental value.

We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions in the watch that were not apparent at the time of assessment, or for delays caused by the unavailability of parts from third-party suppliers.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Tickwright against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of ownership, or your provision of inaccurate information about the watch.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to the courts of Phuket Province, Thailand.

Thai consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522, apply where relevant.

13. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Tickwright regarding the use of this website and our services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. These Terms may not be assigned by you without our prior consent.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with the date of last revision. Continued use of the website or our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
